Your tour begins with a fun-filled horseback riding tour in the beautiful Icelandic nature with Laxnes Horse Farm. You will be provided with all of the basic gear, including helmets, boots and rain or snow clothes (depending on weather). A horse will be matched with you based on your experience with horses (but don’t worry if you’ve never been riding before, as this tour is suitable for all skill levels). The riding tour is roughly 1.5 hours long, and allows you to experience the beautiful Icelandic landscapes that surround the farm area.
The Northern Lights by boat tour departs at 21:00 (9 pm) from the Old Harbour in the center of Reykjavík. The boat sails along the coastline of Reykjavík and in only 15-20 minutes we reach a prime location away from the city lights, perfect for viewing auroras. On board the boat our expert guides will tell you all about the Northern Lights, including scientific facts, and legends and myths from around the world. The boat tour takes 2-3 hours depending on how early/late the lights may appear. The meeting point is our ticket office (Geirsgata 11, 101 Reykjavik) – we ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.
