The Icelandic Mountain Bike Club has an open house every Thursday night from 8 pm. There you can meet fellow cyclists who are up for a chat or working on their bikes. You can count on one thing – you can definitely meet someone to partner up with if you want to see the sights of Iceland on a mountain bike. At the very least you can get some good tips on where to go and how to get there.
Be sure to check the club’s schedule since sometimes during the summer the club house on Brekkustígur 2 in down town Reykjavík is closed.
