The beautiful 1833 meter high Mt. Snæfell is the highest freestanding mountain in Iceland. On a clear day half of Iceland can be seen from the summit!
Hiking to the top of Mt. Snæfell during summer solstice is an amazing experience and highly recommended. Watching the midnight sun from the top is something to remember.
